11.3 Pen and Ink Committee Continued

In addition to its debating and oratorical content, the Jefferson Society provides a variety of opportunities for its members to present and engage with literary content in the Hall. The Pen and Ink Committee is tasked with organizing literary presentations at the Society’s Friday meetings, and also hosts contests throughout the year such as the annual Poe Contest (in which members present dramatic readings of the works of Society member Mr. Edgar Allan Poe) and the Jefferslam (where members present original works of poetry).
