6.1 Papers of the Vice President 1997 – 1998
Each semester, the Vice President organizes a Speaker Series in which distinguished figures in academia, the arts, and professional environments are invited to speak in Jefferson Hall during one of the Society’s Friday-night meetings. This box contains many of the letters sent to invite individuals such as Al Gore, Bill Gates, Maya Angelou, Coretta Scott King, Calvin Klein, James Earl Jones, and George Stephanopoulos to participate in the Speaker Series.
